I know it’s not quite the end of the year yet.  But to say this year has been big would be an understatement, so it felt only fitting that I reflect on the year now…

Grab yourself a cup of tea and I’d love to share with you a little about my year…

Heart?  Full!

Here are some other things I’m grateful for this year (and this is just a handful!)…

My husband and our relationship just getting better and better | My beautiful children and finding my groove as a Mama of two | Old friendships growing stronger | My parents, brothers and sisters and the many, many laughs we always share | My little brother’s engagement | The launch of NURTURE AND SHINE | Facing my fears | Time in nature | Surfing | Taking the leap and studying with the Institute of Integrative Nutrition | Yoga | Finding my “tribe” | Breakdowns in communication that were blessings in disguise | Forgiveness that lead to so much joy | Play dates | Core desired feelings | Watching our little girl grow in her first year of Kinder | Watch our little man grow from a baby to a toddler | Leaving behind my sad and sorry relationship with food (no more guilt!!) | Listening to my body and learning what it needs | The discovery of acupuncture | Reiki – I didn’t realise just how much it would benefit my life | Brand spanking new connections with like-minded souls who have uplifted me more than they could ever know | Working with three beautiful coaches who helped me bring back my sparkle (Rach, Claire and Adele – THANK YOU!) | Special friendships found online… oh so precious | Self-Love & Sisterhood | Soulpreneurs | My Saturn Return | Creating space and letting go | Surrendering | Sacred Self oils (game changer I tell you!) | Spirited.  I can’t put into words how amazing I think this book is. | Brené Brown, Gabrielle Bernstein, Eckhart Tolle, Danielle LaPorte, Louise Hay | Crystals | Laughter… so much laughter | Tears of release, hurt and contentment | The desire to never stop learning | Soul-filled chats | My AMAZING first clients (girls, I adore you so very very much!) | Dinner parties | Gratitude | Being comfortable with my shadow self | Raw desserts | Christmas | Tea | Green Juice & Smoothies | Numerology | Oracle Cards | Committing to nurturing my body, mind and soul every single day…

2013, it’s been a wild ride.  Thank you, thank you, thank you.  2014, I can’t wait to see what you’ve got!

Tell me, beautiful, what has made your heart sing this year?  Did you have a word for 2013?  I’d love to hear from you!

Love, Peace & Shining Light,
Amelia xxx

  1. Darling girl, one of my absolute favourite (FAVOURITE!) things about this year has been relishing in our friendship and mutual love-fest and after reading the above and watching your gorgeous vid, I’m siting here feeling so friggen PROUD of you. Full to the brim with love. Your vulnerability – and commitment to self-enquiry, self-love and your personal (r)evolution – has inspired so many in 2013 and sista, this is just the beginning. 2014 is ALL YOURS. In so many ways.

May this post serve as a metaphorical exclamation mark on an amazing year in your life. And may you know how loved and cherished you are.

    To you. xo
